Notes:
Shrub c.2m high with branches arching when mature. Long shoots dark purple. Leaves glaucous below,dull deep green above with veins not or scarcely impressed. Fruit 6-7x5-6mm, ± turbinate or ellipsoid-turbinate, shinning orange-red. Sepals persistent and tomentose. A few bushes only.
