Notes:
All from one plant. Shrubs to c.2m high. Shoots (long) more or lesss purple. Leaves on strong young vegetative shoots less hairy and less deeply impressed veins than leaves on other shoots & short lateral branches, more or less glaucescent & pale below. Fruit 5-6mm diameter, subglobose and often wider than long, glossy scarlet.
