Beside Akaroa Highway near Graylees. Appearing different from the common A. deflexus adjacent to it. Low but +/- erect herb, stained pinkish-red, especially on stems. Tepals 5. Stigma 2-tipped. Infl. stained pinkish-red. Fruit circ- umscissile. Seeds black, finely reticulate, glossy. See note for sepal diagram.
