Breccia cliff on south east aspect. Open site (manuka scrub burned off several years ago).

Notes:
Leaves glossy above, coriaceous. Flowers pale mauve. (Not same species as specimen 1417). This specimen is identical to plants seen on Surville Cliffs and several headlands towards Hooper Pt. It remains distinct in cultivation from W. gracilis, W. marginata and other Wahlenbergias of this type of habitat.
