Subshrub with lax stems to c.50 cm high. Lvs green capitula 4-5 cm dia. Disc reddish-purple. Rays c.1.5 cm x 6-8 mm pink, elliptic. 2 plants with pink rays and wider leaf segments than usual seen amongst the dominant, white-rayed, finely dissected, + / - glaucous leaved plants
