Prostrate plant, stems, petioles, peduncles, calyx, pedicels & bracts ± red-tinged. Petals 9-10 x 4-5 mm, pinkish-mauve with dark crimson veins towards base not opening widely, ± obovate. Anthers dark-purple, stigmas green. From young plants collected in a lucerne paddock at Tarras. Lucerne imported 5 years before..
