Habitat:
Disturbed clearing on hillside and ridge top in low forest, some grass, Weimannia, Eurya, Planchonella, Crytocarya common trees; fibrous root mat and decomposing litter over limestone, no free water.
Notes:
Erect gorund fern with erect radial caudex. Fronds to 1.3 m long, no reduced basal pinnae, lamina semigloss, mid to dark green above, slightly lighter below, young fronds reddish. Not common in this area. Specimens field-dried over a pressure lamp for c. 12 hrs.
