a) Capsules from large parent tree.b) Adult leaves, coppice leaves, and bark from a small tree with 2 leaders 15 cm dbh, bark creamy coloured, smooth except for short stocking (0.5 m) of flaky grey bark. Regeneration of this species is common (ca. 40 trees) on both sides of stream and at various stages, over limited area (ca. 100 metres) See NZFRI 9996.
