Habitat:
Cultivated amongst grove of deciduous trees.
Notes:
Tree 14-16m high. Bark fissured in small plates, reddish-pink beneath. Buds and young shoots brown, glabrous or nearly so. Leaves white-lined below. Conelet erect, terminal. Cones pendulous, 27-37 cm long, cylindrical, resinous. Only tree of its kind. Unspecified Reserve.
