Trifolium striatumMargot, Yes the clover does look a little different but is still striatum I think. I don't see any character to exclude it from that species. Heads in striatum vary from short ovoid (as in your plant) to cylinders. Regards, [illegible]I agree, but I think there could be a consistent "strain" on biotype difference, like our different forms of cluster clover. The very next day a larger identical piece was brought in from the Wairarapa (via the glasshouse). I have pressed it, if it is of interest. I don't recall ever seeing this form before, but perhaps that doesn't say much. Overseas seed I grew last year was the other form.
