Heads in striatum vary from short ovoid (as in your plant) to cylinders. The very next day a larger identical piece was brought in from the Wairarapa (via the glasshouse). I have pressed it, if it is of interest. I don't recall ever seeing this form before, but perhaps that doesn't say much. Overseas seed I grew last year was the other form.
