Shrub about 1.5m high. Aromatic, currant scented. Inflorescence pendulous, glandular-viscid. Hypanthium about 6mm long, narrow campanulate (excluding constricted basal area) pink to rose; sepals 5-6.5mm long, elliptic oblong, pink to rose; petals 3-4mm long, spathulate, white aging pink. Anthers white. Stigmas green. Common.
