Notes:
Forming an important component of scrub small multi-trunked tree, young shoots and petioles at all stages reddish-purple. Leaves "bay-scented" when crushed, glossy above. Very common in one area with regeneration from seed and by suckering, a range of specimens from seedlings to large saplings
