Notes:
Vegetation: Leptocarpus, tall fescue, Juncus species. Only one plant of this species seen here, forming a robust tussock 50cm tall. Leaves soft, double-folded, to 10mm wide. Spikes with male flowers terminal, female below Fruiting. utricles green, nerved on abaxial face, smooth (not scabrid - compare Flora New Zealand Volume 3 page 159.) Not biconvex.
