Habitat:
Steep bouldery slope with few plants in crevices with brown clayey loam. Aspect N.
Notes:
Abundant shrub 5-8 cm high, with fine recurved foliage. Flowers with corolla tube white, sepals reddish-purple. Associated with Rhacomitrium patch, also Gaultheria colensoi and Pentachondra pumila. Dupl. to CHR.
