Habitat:
Horizontal branch of Coprosma propinqua; full sun. Open scrub with small groups of /coprosma spp. (mostly C. propinqua), Podocarpus totara, Fushsia excorticata, Pseudopanax crassifolius, Griselinia littoralis, and Aristotelia serrata; on river terrace.
Notes:
Sterile. With flagelliferous branches and fragile leaves. (Sterile branchlets abundant; uppermost 400 µm of veg. leaf lamina nearly entirely bistratose; at mid-leaf lamina with small bistratose areas & margin. Allan Fife, February 2000.)
