Notes:
Sterile. Habit comose, leaf border extremely wide (c. 10 cells or more) and pale. Apparently dioicous. Tubers present & abundant, dark red-brown, ca. 150-300 um diam. Not referrable to any species in B. capillare complex described by Syed (1973) Allan Fife
