Habitat:
Shrubland of regenerating forest trees,mainly kamahi and bracken.
Notes:
Bright green fountain form narrow leaved tussock, old culms elongated and lying on ground with older leaves. Glumes less than utricles, persistently thin; culms glab with a few distinct nerves.
