Periodically chewed back by cattle. Not uncommon. Form: erect herbLeaves: mid-green, yellowing; glossy. Tips dead. Sharply abrasive (margins and both surfaces on stroke only towards base. Leaf and culm bases brown striped. Culms creamy-green; roudned c.s.; smooth.Fruit dark brown. Hook aggressively to hairs.
