Adjacent open cut-over young teatree scrub with Gahnia - very common. A common species here, forming dense patches. Form: Erect herb with leaves and culms to 1m.Leaves: Spike like. Mid green, semi gloss, mid magenta-red at bases.Fruits: culms same colour as leaves.Fruit: pale green, shiny (young) to shiny pale orange with grey-black tips.
