Notes:
Tree 15m or more. Bark grey, fissured. Shoots massive, soft, densely covered with fringed brown scales. Buds white. Coning branch. Cones in cone coll. dehiscence before falling, prickly minute, deduncle short, stout. (See Cone Collection)
