Habitat:
Volcanic cliff face above town (Whakatane Heads).
Notes:
Liane on rocka and low scrub. Leaflets shining above. Calyx margin reddish. Corrola erect or suberect, tube c. 10cm, orange-red, becoming almost rose, bent c. 2.5 cm from base, lobes c. 2-2.5 × 2-2.5cm, usually emarginate, rose-orange, becoming deep rose. Style 7.5-8cm.
