Notes:
but female flowers few, and leaves channelled. Rather open yellow-green tussock. Leaves much longer than culms. Female flowers 5-7 - widely spaced near base, closer towards top. Male portion long. Utricles smooth. Culms scabrid in upper half. Glumes obtuse (to subacute) - much shorter than utricles. Leaves 1-1.5mm wide, channelled, yellow green. Sheaths dull darkish brown. Utricles not prominently beaked. Glumes appear persistent. Culm trigonous.
