Male. Shrub c. 2m, growing with Specimen W.R. Sykes:203/80 (No.CHR369223 ) Shoots ± olive-green, not breaking. Leaves glaucous below when young, silky when very young. Catkins curving downwards. Bracts c.2.5mm, ± elliptic, tending hooded, green. Gland (1 or sometimes 2 on same side) c.0.4mm, ± oblong, yellow.
