Female. Shrub c.2m. Shoots not breaking, ± olive-green. Leaves glaucous below, silky when very young. Catkins tending pendent at this stage. Bracts 2.5-3mm, ± ellipticic, green. Gland (1) c.0.5mm, broader than long, yellow.
