Notes:
The bush (about 152cm high) from which these privet specimens came, had when growing rather an appearance of being a cross of Ligustrum vulgare and Ligustrum lucidum. A number of specimens of both species were growing where it was found or perhaps with Ligustrum ovalifloium: which though not growing so close, would I expect have the more suitable community of flowering times. I don't suppose it is more than a stiffer form of Ligustrum vulgare; but in case it is more I enclose a few specimens for your examination.
