This is a remarkably fine form of A. serpens with leaves particularly small (mostly < 0.5 mm long) and erect even when moist. There is some variability of habit within this collection, with some plants at periphery being weakly secund. The habit of this material is quite unlike the bulk of lowland material I have seen from the North Island. & Gymnostomum calcareum.
