Common grass throughout island. Large areas on Auti V. etc. (Forms forerunner of lantana & guava) 3 ft. high. Not browsed. According to natives, grasses were all introduced. Some from Tahiti & some from N.Z. Came with horses & cows?Canterbury University College Botanical Expedition to Pitcairn Island.
