Ex Lincoln University Herbarium
Supplementary remarks:
Property of Lincoln College Herb. This must be part of the original collection of H. obovata Kirk. See Fl. N.Z. 1961 p. 948. As Co-type material this would be better housed at Botany Division. On loan to Bot. Div. 21/4/66.

Type:
Probable ISOLECTOTYPE of Veronica obovata Kirk, Trans. & Proc. New Zealand Inst. 9: 502 (1877). Lectotype chosen by Bayly MJ and Kellow AV 2004. This specimen lacks the Kirk number 685, so it is uncertain whether it is part of the type gathering.
Bayly MJ and Kellow AV, 27 May 2005
