Habitat:
Wet sclerophyll woodland with Eucaplyptus fraxinoides, E. fastigata. Granitic rock outcropping.
Notes:
Perenial to 1 m high. Leaves dark green above, lighter below, dull. Stems purplish. Stems generally unbranched, arising from a massive rootstock. Outer bracts orange, inner bright yellow. Disc orange.
