Supplementary remarks:
This is one of the old mounted specimens the locality is given as above but without collection name in Jw Armstrong's handwriting. I suspect however that a mistake has been made as this species is not known to occur outside the Canterbury district: in all probability the specimen is one of Dr Haast original set collected in the Waimakariri.
