The Carse Herbarium No. 42/2
Canterbury Museum, Christchurch, N.Z.
Herbarium history:
Transferred from Canterbury Museum, Christchurch (CANTY) May 1975
Supplementary remarks:
"Dryopteris parasitica. The specimens sent resemble closely a common form widely spread in tropical countries; It is, however, scarcely the genuine D. parasitica (L) and should probably be named D. Dentata (Forsk) C.Chr. (See my Monograph II formerly D. mollis) It is possible that a revision of comprehensive material from the Old World will show more definitely how your form should be named."
