Notes:
Flowers pale blue. Usually white in this taxon. Calyx lobes very long. cf. CHR 79048 Huangaroa [Huangarua] R. Wairarapa.(Also found on Kawau Id., & coast west of Auckland city A.E.E. [Esler AE]. Rangitoto Id, Auck. J.A.P. [Petterson JA])This specimen matches KEW specimen 1101 (see photo). "95 New Zealand. Rocks near the sea, Bay of Islands. Aug. 1841." Both in the long evenly-serrate leaves and the long calyx lobes.Duplicate sent to CHR
