In remnant of totara and broadleaf surrounded by regenerating scrub after fire - Steep rocky ground.
Notes:
Large, dense bushy shrub. Nearest Olearia lacunosa would be in the Perth, Westland. ! Olearia ilicifolia is extremely rare in the wide vicinity. O. acivenniaefolia [avicenniifolia] is pres. in imm. vicinity. Also O. nummularifolia [nummulariifolia].
