There are few details on these specimens (CHR 240372A and CHR 240372B) and I do not recognise the handwriting in which the locality is written on these specimens. I do not know whether the reference number is a high collecting number or someother reference. There is locality Kauaeranga near the Kauaeranga River near Thames in South Auckland Land District, but there is also a a Kauaeranga Hill near Purua, north west of Whangarei in North Auckland Land District.
