I have seen one detached setae/capsule and one definitely attached but broken seta. Both setae are clearly scabrose. The leaves here are less strongly toothed (only serrulate in branch leaves) but there serrulate more or less to base) than other specimens but otherwise matching other NZ collections (c.g. Allison from Flagstaff) well. I have been unable to confirm presence/absence of abaxial costal spines.
