Two collections by P. de Lange (K664, CHR 611155 & K137, CHR 616541) and two collections by W.R.Sykes (CHR 266094 and 161112; see Beever et al. 2000. p. 56) are best referred to C. angustata, although the L:W ratio of their branch leaves are all less than the 3.5 given by Tangney in his key. These four specimens have branch leaf L:W ratios ranging from of 2.4 to 3.3. The branch leaf concavity in these specimens is weak and cells in branch leaf apex are short (2-3:1). The apical margin at the branch leaf apex is clearly serrulate in three of these collections but nearly entire in the fourth (P. de Lange K137)
