Supplementary remarks:
Very surprised to find this growing under old established Puriri grove at least 800ft above sea level and well back from cliff face, am quite certain S. littoralis, only two in extensive area searched same vacinity, unfortunately no flowers. I have been keeping close eye open whole time have for this but expected to find at lower levels certainly not in bush line.
