Notes:
Trees up to 15 feet tall, trunks to 9" diam. Windswept but flowering freely. On coastal rocks within half a mile shrubs in crevices flowering at less than a foot tall. Forms main plant cover on small islands in bay where terns and other sea birds nest. Flowers pale lavender blue when first open. Sweet scented.
