In Subalpine scrub near the top of the pass at 30000 ft. altitude.
Notes:
Plants 4 ins. high, tepals white with nerves on back ± red, lip erect, with 1 or 2 suffused yellow spots with brownish centres on either side. Column creamy white, yellow at the base with brownish spots in lower half, top yellowish green.
