deeply submerged Used for "Hypnobartlettia fontana" illustraiton for Moss Flora of New Zealand paraphyllia: present, sparse, filiform leaf shape: ovate-lanceolate mid leaf lamina thickness: lower portions of stem leaves (c. 1/4 to 1/3 above base) about half unistratose and half bistratose & margins either bistratose or unistratose; mid leaf and upper leaf lamina predominantly bistratose, but with small unistratose regions & margins mostly/entirely bistratose. mid leaf margin thickness: predominantly bistratose stem leaf reflexion: nil costa width (about 1/4 above base): c. 120 µm mid-lamial cells mostly 27-33(-42) x 5-6 µm
