Specimen notes
Public Note:
Spores from pileus, including apiculus, length=4.8–5.6µm (µ=5.3, σ=0.24), width=3.4–4.3µm (µ=3.8, σ=0.27), Q=1.2–1.6µm (µ=1.41, σ=0.10), n=20. Immature spores on the lamella are closer to Horak's measurements. No forked cheilocystidia found. PDD 96133, also fitting C. multilamellata has sequences identical to C. geminus. That is reported with spores 6 x 5, and 5.5 x 4, and with identical cheilos. The evidence suggests R. multilamellata is a later synonym of R. geminus. [JAC]
