Spores, excluding apiculus length=6.8–8.6µm (µ=7.9, σ=0.47), width=5.0–6.3µm (µ=5.7, σ=0.31), Q=1.3–1.6µm (µ=1.40, σ=0.07), n=20. Note that A. nothofagi (Stevenson's type) has globose spores 8.2 mean.
