To ICMP 16/9/2010. Specimen need re-examination - is botryophaeriaceae. Sequence is same as a Diplodia coryli and juglandis, although the identity of these is questioned ... Phillips AJL, Alves A, Pennycook SR, Johnston PR, Ramaley A, Akulov A, Crous PW Resolving the phylogenetic and taxonomic status of dark-spored eleomorph genera in the Botryosphaeriaceae Persoonia 21, 29-55, 2008. Authentic D. coryli was placed in synonmy with D. sarmentoum by Stevens - see JAC11631. Authentic D. juglandis may also be there. Does this have non-septate brown conidia with a germ slit? If so then see discussion on Endomelanconiopsis endophytica.
