Collected from Tamaki Faro supermarket. Attempted to culture and dried
C.A. Smith
Public Note:
An ITS sequence places this within the group of cultivated strains of Enoki which were described under the name Flammulina filiformis and the species has an Asian origin. This species is not present in New Zealand other than in cultivation. Flammulina velutipes from modified/natural habitats is a different species, probably an early introduction from Europe.
