blue stem. Cap convex, spores multi-angled (>5), 7x6um gill edge fimbriate with cylidrical cheilocystidia. Stipe base without noticeable rhizoids. Nearest is uliginicola but that with fibrillose zonate cap and without cheilocystidia. Despite that, the distinctive rugulose spores make this uliginicola.
