with really white decurrent gills and long stem, radial strigose hairs at base. Cap & gill tissue strongly dextrinoid, not gelatinised. 4-spored, spores amyloid, cylindrical 10x5-6um , cap with broad dextrinoid cells and surface layer finely diverticulate, lageniform/clavate pleurocystidia, diverticulate cheilocystidia. See image of Egon's ZT8256 & 8275. Close to jac10058? See also PDD9976. Seems close to Egon's concept of M. helminthobasis var nz.. Poor sequence says allied to M. leaiana var. australis, so also worth checking fresh specimens for a separable gill edge.
