Public Note:
[PL] yellow gills and squamulose cap. subsection lepiota xanthophylla, spores and cheilocystidia fit. FAN5. Cap campanulate with darker umbo at centre. Pale cream with squamules with dark edges. Gills free, creamy yellow. Stipe cylindrical, creamy yellow, up facing ring, 30-40mm x 3-4mm , spores ellisoid, thick walled 7-8 x 4-5um, caulocystidia utriform. [jac] no clamps, not xanthophylla, is Leucoagaricus. Spores variably dextrinoid. length=6.2-7.5µm (µ=7.0, σ=0.36), width=3.6-5.0µm (µ=4.0, σ=0.32), Q=1.5-2.0µm (µ=1.75, σ=0.14), n=20. Note sphaeropendunculate basidia.
