spores length=7.2-9.8µm (µ=8.2, σ=0.56), width=7.2-8.5µm (µ=7.9, σ=0.40), Q=1.0-1.2µm (µ=1.04, σ=0.05), n=20. The literature derived distinction that var laccata has ellisoid spores versus var pallida with globose spores does not seem to be valid.
