peridium unchanging. Purple in FeSO4. Peridial subcutis gelatinised but wthout sutures (not protubera), without utricles, gleba brown. There is fine structure in the ITS G. eburnea clade with at least one group separating out by strongly red bruising inner wall of periderm.
