Public Note:
cap grey (violaceous). No taste. Stem scaly below ring, with brown drops when fresh. Stem base bound with sphagnum. Cap not green in NH4OH. Centre finely pruinose. Same as later collection from Nelson Lakes, except that with NH4OH reaction.
